Goliath plot
Billy McBride is a downtrodden lawyer who spends most of his time in the pub. He is brought in by a woman to file a lawsuit against a client of the large law firm that he once helped set up. They uncover a conspiracy that reaches to the very top of the company.

I have just now watched the first season on Prime of the very good series with a very strong Thornton, and the unfortunately deceased Hurt. And the series takes place in wonderful California near or in fascinating Los Angeles. A place that is not always safe, but so beautiful and crazy.
I still think the best thing from Thornton ever is the wonderful film "A simple plan". Lately, I don't see him in any good movies anymore, but hey, when you've been married six times you certainly don't have that much time...
