I always like it when characters go through a clear development. Even in a fairly predictable format like a sitcom. In that respect, the third season of 'Schitt's Creek' (2017) is again excellently written. The Roses are starting to realize that they really can't go back to their old lives. The jokes come more from their clumsy attempts to build something new in Schitt's Creek. Facing their own insecurities. Learning to trust their own strengths and qualities. It actually makes 'Schitt's Creek' (2017) a pretty warm series about community spirit and taking responsibility.
