Flodder plot

The completely antisocial Flodder family lives in an upscale neighbourhood. The mother is the boss in the family and makes a valuable contribution by distilling gin. The sons are not unknown to the police and the shapely daughter Kees does not take it too seriously. Time and again tensions and irritations arise with the local residents and this naturally leads to all kinds of comical situations.

Best season of the entire series I think. The bone-dry dialogues of Ma, the chemistry between Johnnie and Kees (fortunately both played a lot more fun than Huub Stapel and Rene van het Hof did in the first two films), Grandpa who is treated like shit and daughter Kees who is the most sober is of all and often amazed at the idiot plans of the family. Bert André (as a wimpy neighbour), Miguel Stigter (as petty thief Kareltje), Edmond Classen (as the grumpy alderman), Lou Landré (as the gullible Charlie) and Laus Steenbeeke (as little patjakkertje Hennie) all have excellent supporting roles. Those last two are especially great.

In the third season, the Flodder Family continues undisturbed with the pranks and jokes. Some better than others, but the humor is still there. Ma Flodder remains very strong by Nelly Frijda. Splendid. Johnny and Kees are also a good couple together, the chemistry between the two works well.

Season three is definitely worth watching.
