Flodder plot

The completely antisocial Flodder family lives in an upscale neighbourhood. The mother is the boss in the family and makes a valuable contribution by distilling gin. The sons are not unknown to the police and the shapely daughter Kees does not take it too seriously. Time and again tensions and irritations arise with the local residents and this naturally leads to all kinds of comical situations.

The second season of the Flodder series is again one with the necessary humor and dark affairs .. Not too believable, but that's not necessary here, it's all about humor after all.

Also in this season I think the roles of Ma Flodder and Son Kees are extremely well portrayed.

After an extremely successful first season, the green light was soon given for a second season. The formula has remained unchanged and the number of episodes is also the same. It can no longer be called original and the humor is perhaps somewhat predictable, but the adventures of the Flodder family keep their charm and never get bored for a minute.

Actors Melle de Boer and Mandy Negerman, who played the roles of Toet and Henk Flodder in both the film Flodder In Amerika and in the first season of the series, were cast again in this second season and in played this season by Sander Swart and Scarlett Heuer. Strong episodes this season are: “Doubbelgangster” in which the Zonnedael neighborhood hires a doppelgänger of Ma Flodder to terrorize the neighborhood in order to trick the real Ma Flodder into it, “Deadly ill” in which Ma Flodder is told that she is only a few weeks to live, “De Penvriend” in which Kees Flodder is visited by a penpal with whom she developed a relationship, while the latter was imprisoned, “Onder Hypnose” in which Kees Flodder tries to seduce girls using hypnosis, “Family Klikspaan” in which Johnnie Flodder testifies against some leaders of the underworld and thus has to go into hiding and “Blessed End” in which the Dutch army accidentally loses an extremely dangerous explosive device in the municipality of Zonnedael. The actors are still clearly having fun and this second season was also a great success for youth channel Veronica, so that a third season was soon announced.
