Overlord plot

The last hour of the popular virtual reality game 'Yggdrasil' has arrived. However, Momonga, in the game a powerful wizard and master of a dark guild, decides to spend his last moments in the game when the servers start to shut down. To his surprise, despite the fact that the clock has struck midnight, Momonga is still fully conscious as his character, and the non-player characters appear to have developed their own personalities. Faced with this anomalous situation, Momonga orders his faithful servants to help him investigate and take control of this new world, in the hopes of finding out what caused this development and whether others might be in the same situation.
