After seeing Snabba Cash you will understand why Sweden ranks among the top European murder statistics. The number of murders involving weapons is even three times higher than the European average. S2 by Snabba Cash - the Swedish Mocro Mafia - features drugs, violence and street gangs in the desolate suburbs of Stockholm. There is a constant threat among the hopeless losers, who try to recruit 12 or 13 year olds into the honorable profession of gang member.
The centerpiece is start-up entrepreneur Leya (a superb role by Evin Ahmad), who constantly balances between motherhood, management and crime. Although managing..., she has no time for that at all; the storyline surrounding TargetCoach seems rather contrived. Nevertheless, the realistic Snabba Cash is a smooth and exciting binge watcher. Bandless, hopeless, a completely absent Polis and parents who abandon children to their fate; it is not surprising that Sweden has a huge crime problem. Snabba Cash shows that mercilessly.

Besides the movie trilogy and season 1, this was probably the best of Snabba Cash. A very worthy sequel. Leya is portrayed very well again. Intense plot with some hard moments. As the episodes progress, it matters less and less who shoots who, also because it is easy to predict who will be left. The ending, between Jamal and Leya during the party, is completely thunderous. A season 3 has been announced for September 2023. Bring it on.
