It is one of the most profitable horror franchises in history, though that is partly due to the fact that no less than 13 movies have been produced.

It has been rebooted twice, with Rob Zombie's Halloween in 2007 and David Gordon Green's Halloween in 2018.

Within our MovieMeter community, there are naturally various Halloween movies that have received hugely positive responses - and some with negative responses. Interestingly, it is the two Halloween reboot movies that come in third and fourth. Rounding out the top five is Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers.

According to our community, the worst movies in the franchise are Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Halloween Resurrection.
