"Romance rides in a drama of thundering hoofs and blazing guns!"

Shortly after John Brant is imprisoned for murder, he escapes and heads west, where he joins a criminal gang. Brant discovers that Jones, a gang member he has befriended, is guilty of the murder for which he himself was convicted. While John Brant wants to forgive and forget everything, he doesn't realize that Jones is not only after his girlfriend, but also begins to suspect Brant of not being a real criminal.
