"The snow will be painted red with Nazi blood."
December 30, 1941. In Vyazma, a small group of Soviet soldiers is trying to reach their own comrades after escaping a Nazi encirclement. They suddenly find themselves involved in an unequal battle with a special unit of the Wehrmacht. None of these brave people were born heroes, but they turn out to be real heroes. And are aided in their struggle by the Red Ghost, who exterminates Nazi soldiers one by one. He seems to be able to disappear almost magically into the woods and even rise from the dead.
