The Confidant plot

"Loser Takes All"

Two childhood friends have an unusually strong bond and share a more than intriguing secret. Both boys are on the right path towards a promising future. One in the NFL while the other has a talented arts education with a full scholarship. However, a complicated web of lies, gambling, murder and a pact between the friends sends one innocent friend to prison while the other takes credit. After spending 11 years in prison, the innocent comes to settle a debt and is determined to get the life he was promised, by whatever means necessary.
