One Night with the King plot
"Feel The Touch Of Destiny"
The story closely follows the pretty-looking young Jewish girl Hadassah. When her parents are murdered, she ends up with her uncle who is an ally of the Persian king. When power-hungry Persian princes plunder the uncle's residence, she too is taken. One day she is smuggled in a cart into the palace of the king, Xerxes, who is at that time very displeased by all kinds of war troubles. In the same period, the prime minister, who finds a willing ear with the king, alludes to a genocide against the Jewish people. Once in the king's harem, she manages to attract the attention of Xerxes. In spite of the fact that he is very wealthy, she is more attracted to the personal characteristics of the king.
