In search of a missing girl, Police Inspector Santos Trinidad becomes involved in a shooting. The result: three dead and an escaped witness. Santos will be in deep trouble if he has to explain this without the witness. Judge Chacon is in charge of the investigation into the shooting. As they investigate the case, Santos and Chacon discover that behind a seemingly normal war between drug dealers and criminals, a far more complex and dangerous situation is unfolding.
