Al-murashahat Al-muthalia plot
Due to a combination of circumstances, the young doctor Maryam Alsafan accidentally registers as a candidate for the municipal elections. She soon realizes that she can ensure that the ill-maintained access road to the hospital is finally repaired. Interesting to take a look at the Arab world; how the man still dominates the woman there, unimaginable... But I didn't really find this film very interesting. Too slow, too little... Although the acting was good.

Still, the film gave me a fresh impression. Of course you first come across some striking situations in which the conservative man refuses help from a female doctor, but I was very impressed by the strong performance of Mila Alzahrani, who carries through with the necessary flair and préséance. guides the film.
It may have been viewed from a simplistic, ignorant Western perspective, but apart from a number of conservative views, I thought it was quite strong that despite everything she still commanded the necessary respect and could still afford quite a bit. Not the first film about the difference in rights between men and women in the Arab world, but still a convincing one.
The scornful attitude of men towards a woman who dares to raise her voice is indicative of that world and extremely painful.
