Nico plot
Cheerful German-Persian Nico loves her job as a geriatric nurse and is popular with everyone for her easygoing and understanding nature. She enjoys the Berlin summer with her best friend Rosa, until a racist attack suddenly takes her out of her carefree life.

Mediocre to weak film by a young immigrant who is confronted with racism. She is badly beaten and decides not to let herself be hurt anymore. She promptly enrolls in karate classes. She is also a home helper and cares for people in need.
Only, where is it all going? I miss a clear line and purpose in the film. I didn't find it all that convincing either. It's not because you bring together some social themes and some drama that you produce a good film.
Apparently the film debut of the young director Gehring. Hopefully she evolves and questions herself. The debut of many great contemporary directors was not always great either.
