When Jim Hawkins gets his hands on a legendary treasure map, the clever and decisive actions of his mother, Bess, ensure he acquires valuable information that puts both their lives in danger. Aboard the Hispaniola, Jim and Bess become embroiled in a conflict between the charming yet terrifying pirate Long John Silver and the gallant but ambiguous British agent Aaron Graham. Jim must grow up fast as he and his mother fight for their lives during a voyage where alliances shift, secrets multiply, and danger lurks from all sides.
