Last Night plot

"It's not the end of the world... there's still six hours left."

Towards the turn of the century it becomes known that the end of the world is approaching. All kinds of people are shown how they deal with this demise, at six o'clock in the evening with six hours to go before the end will be there. Patrick Wheeler wants to spend the ending alone, despite the family's plans for one last dinner. Duncan and Donna continue to work for the gas company so that people can spend their last hours in relative comfort. Meanwhile, Duncan's wife Sandra hits Patrick's doorstep. And then there's the general panic and uproar that reigns on the streets...
