"There are 70 minutes to the end of the world. Where can you hide?"
Harry falls in love with Julie at a bar in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles. They make an appointment, which he misses, but then he accidentally picks up a phone, informing him that America and the Soviet Union have started a nuclear war and that within hours the first missiles will land in LA. Harry searches for Julie to flee the city, but that is not easy in a city ravaged by riots, terror and lawlessness.
