La Famiglia plot

"In 1906 Carlo was born into a very large family..."

The film follows Carlo's life, from the moment he was baptized in his grandfather's arms in 1906 to his 80th birthday, where he stands as a grandfather with a baby in his arms. We see his family history, his love and the political discussion surrounding Mussolini. The entire film is set in Carlo's house whose rooms determine the structure of the film.
