Earth plot
The film follows a group of friends - both Hindu and Muslim - in Lahore. When British India in 1947 was divided into the Islamic state of Pakistan, and the largely Hindu India, this drove the adherents of both religions, who until then lived peacefully together, into a deep conflict.
