Dark Horse plot
"The story of spirit, courage, and survival!"
Fourteen-year-old Allison Mills is lonely. Her mother has passed away and her father is completely preoccupied with his work as an architect. She skips school, has the wrong friends and has to appear in court for reckless driving. He sentenced her to ten weekends of work on a horse ranch, where handicapped children learn to ride horses. She goes there skeptically, but soon becomes attached to the beautiful racehorse Jet.
