The Lowdown plot
Lee Raybon is a self-proclaimed “truth historian” from Tulsa whose obsession with the truth constantly gets him into trouble. Living and working in the heart of Tulsa at a rare bookstore—a local refuge and unofficial community center—Lee is passionate about fighting corruption, even when his constant sleuthing puts him in danger. While Lee is no idealist, he’s constantly searching for the city’s hidden gems, often drawing him away from his 14-year-old daughter Francis, a precocious teenager who has inherited her father’s curiosity and yearns to join him on his adventures.
