Come See the Paradise plot
The film tells the story of Jack McGurn, who travels to Los Angeles in 1936. He gets a job in a movie theater in Little Tokyo and falls in love with Lily Kawamura, the boss's daughter. When her father finds out about this, Jack is fired. They escape to Seattle together. When war breaks out, the government decides that Japanese immigrants must live in camps as prisoners of war.
