Nelly (Emmanuelle Béart) doesn't have to expect anything from her husband when it comes to getting out of financial trouble, because he just sits in front of the television. Even now, Sautet does not disappoint, although it must be said that the class of Michel Serrault and the beautiful, intelligent of Emmanuelle Béart do justice to the subtlety of the characters' feelings and prevent the film from falling into monotony.
