"Murder in the Tunnel of Love!"
Former criminal-turned-private detective Horatio "Boston Blackie" Black arrives on a steamboat in New York City and finds himself in trouble with Police Inspector John Faraday. The dead body of Martin Vestrick was found in his cabin. To prove his innocence, Blackie goes in search of Marilyn Howard, whom he and his comrade The Runt have seen aboard together. On Coney Island, Blackie manages to track down Marilyn but is killed by a gang of spies during a drive. These spies, as well as Police Inspector John Faraday, now hunt Blackie and Cecelia Bradley, who witnessed Marilyn's murder.
