Une Époque Formidable... plot
Berthier (Gérard Jugnot) had a great position but was fired. He doesn't dare say anything about it at home because he wants to avoid problems and sensitivities. He goes to "work" every day and comes home in the evening with gifts for the whole family. Instead of looking for a regular job, he joins a club of amateur thieves and swindlers. This club is run by the charming Toubib (Richard Bohringher). Every member of the club has its own idiosyncrasies and must be treated with a velvet glove.
