Stranger Things: Tales from '85 takes place in the winter of 1984-1985, immediately following the second season. While the horrors of the Upside Down seem to fade under a thick blanket of snow in Hawkins, Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have resumed their normal lives with Dungeons & Dragons and snowball fights. However, the calm is deceptive: something terrifying has awakened beneath the ice.
