Gravity Falls plot

Together with Rick and Morty one of the best animated series of the moment. It all combines elements of recent pop culture with the extremely cute twins Dipper and Mabel. What I really like is that the stories start small and cute and are about experiences that everyone has had in childhood. Having a crush on that older girl. Being bullied. Feeling that a close relative is up to you. Then those recognizable situations take a crazy bird's eye view to the most bizarre twists you can think of.

Wonderful series. Very imaginative (even more so in season 2) and great animation, especially the backgrounds and colors. The characters are engaging and there are funny details.
Both my eight year old daughter and I enjoy it, often for different reasons like the references to the old days, what [user=13]Inland Rabbit[/user] says, but often also for the same funny situations, especially with Mabel, nice character. Pretty clever of a series if it manages that 
PS the opening tune is nice too. Especially in the last episodes when it's distorted because of Bill.
