News Hounds plot

Terence J. Montgomery "Slip" Mahoney and Horace Debussy "Sach" Jones work for a local newspaper as reporters and photographers, respectively. Slip wants to report on a local gang of gamblers who influence the results of sporting events. Slip and Sach go undercover to expose this gang, but their eagerness has unforeseen consequences when the gang leader files a $4 million libel suit against their newspaper.
