Lucky Losers plot

"THE CARDS ARE STACKED...WITH LAUGHS!"

Terence Aloysius "Slip" Mahoney and Horace Debussy "Sach" Jones work for a New York firm owned by David J. Thurston. His daughter, Carol Thurston, has a love affair with conscientious television producer Gabe Moreno. When one day David Thurston is found dead, the coroner declares suicide. Slip, however, doesn't believe that and goes snooping around Thurston's office. He finds a suspicious matchbox there.
