Joe Palooka in Humphrey Takes a Chance plot
"HILARIOUS HUMPHREY! He's worth his weight in LAUGHS"
Gordon Rogers of the criminal Square Deal Boxing Corporation tries to strike a deal with manager Knobby Walsh, whereby he wants to get 30% of the contract with boxing champion Joe Palooka. Knobby refuses and he even says he can stage a record boxing match in West Wokkington Falls. He only mentions this town because he is going there with Joe Palooka and his wife Anne Howe to visit their friend Humphrey Pennyworth. Rogers assumes that Knobby is indeed going to organize a boxing match between Joe and Humphrey and rushes to prevent it.
