"It's just a bunch of Hocus Pocus."
1693, Salem, Massachusetts. Three witches brew a horrible potion with which they want to kill all of Salem's children. In this way they would take over the youth of the children and become immortal themselves. Binx, a thirteen-year-old boy, can thwart the witches' plans, but is turned into a cat himself. In revenge, the witches cast a curse on the residents of Salem in 1993.

Entertaining Disney adventure film, which at times will be a bit too scary for the youngest target group. Especially the zombie Billy (who also loses his head) is a good example of this. The film contains the necessary humor and a fairly smooth pace and is mainly really carried by the witches, with Bette Midler excelling the most.

A true classic!
Just a great movie from the 90's. Of course you see that reflected in everything, but that's what makes it so fun and clunky. This is a perfect movie to watch around Halloween to get you in the mood.
I highly recommend it and I'm really looking forward to what they're going to do next.

Watched both parts today, the first significantly better than part 2
therefore part 1 a six, so 3 stars.
part 2 a 5, 2.5 stars
Both parts are nice and there is nothing more to say about it
