Gli Amici di Gesù - Tommaso plot
When Jesus is taken down from the cross on Calvary, Thomas arrives. Like many other disciples, he went into hiding with friends after Jesus' arrest. After his burial, the disciples quickly decide to leave Jerusalem. Only Thomas refuses to go. He does not want to leave the tomb of Jesus unguarded and is afraid of desecration. When Mary Magdalene comes to tell of the resurrection of Jesus, all the disciples believe her, except Thomas. He leaves the rest and goes to look for the body. Even when the rest of the disciples have seen Jesus, he does not believe them. He sets out to seek the truth, and soon encounters Jesus.
