Biographical drama about the unsung French sculptress, pupil, model, rival and above all mistress of Auguste Rodin. Camille Claudel is a very talented sculptress. At the age of 19 she is hired as an assistant to the great Rodin. Claudel adores him so much that she would do anything for him, both artistically and privately. Her relationship with Rodin deteriorates when she comes to realize that he will never marry her and that she will always remain 2nd to Rodin's lover Rose Beuret.
