La Belle Noiseuse plot

Edouard Frenhofer is a 60-year-old painter who feels that his career is over, as he has no more inspiration to create anything creative. His last work, a painting by his wife, has been waiting for him unfinished for 10 years, but the love he felt for his wife is over. His young protégé advises him to find a new source of inspiration and puts his girlfriend forward as a new model. Edouard immediately regains his inspiration.
