"They said 'Take her out'. He got the wrong idea."
In the lonely life of hit man Victor Maynard, two people emerge: Tony, a boy who becomes Victor's apprentice, and Rose, a beautiful thief. Victor has been ordered by a mob boss to kill her, as she is alleged to have cheated on a mobster. Circumstances prevent Victor from doing this, but then the problems pile up. The mob boss sends extra people to kill her. Victor decides to help her, but they are soon after him too.

Black comedy in which romance creeps in little by little, but that doesn't make it any less funny.
Few dead moments really, which is often the case with such a film, but several successful, enjoyable scenes (the philosophy of mother, the parrot, Rembrandt's address, the album, the misunderstandings...).
Engaging and relaxing with an excellent Bill Nighy of course and a lively Emily Blunt.

Entertaining action/comedy starring Emily Blunt, Bill Nighy, Rupert Grint and Martin Freeman. Strong role of Bill Nighy as professional hit man Victor Maynard. Emily Blunt is first of all fun to watch and her role in the film is well played. Nice role from Grint. Another role of Grint aka Ron Weasley from Harry Potter. Martin Freeman didn't really convince me in his role as bad guy.
All in all a successful comedy with British humor and dosed action in the film. It's not a top-notch in the genre, but a film that never bores. My rating for this movie is 3.5 stars!

Nah. Easily looks away, but also has suspiciously little to the body. And if the music is supposed to indicate what a funny scene is, that's a bad sign.
Martin Freeman has a good sense of humor, Nighy plays the same part as always, and Blunt plays well but just isn't funny.
A film that you can easily skip - but it is also not a punishment to watch it.
