“He might be weird. I mean, he donated sperm. That's weird.”

“Well, you know, if he hadn't, we wouldn't be here, so... respect.”

Entertaining film that thrives on the strong acting of the actors, and I also appreciate the total lack of moralism or sentiment. They are not all the most sympathetic characters, but because of the actors you empathize with everyone. It feels genuine, and Bening, Moore, Ruffalo, Wasikowska and Hutcherson act rock solid. It does leave a sour aftertaste that Ruffalo's character is portrayed as the bad guy (while they all make mistakes). But the final scenes are brilliant and make up for a lot.

Bought for a few euros through the marketplace. I had a lot of fun with it. I think it's a wonderful story with nice, subtle humor. It easily looked away and it dragged me along. It's not very heavy and emotional, which I also liked, and I don't know many movies about lesbian couples with donor children. I think the subject is well chosen. I also like the acting. As far as I'm concerned, Julianne Moore has something so beautiful in her appearance, appearance and doings. One of my favorite actresses. There may be things that could have been done better, like the donor father suddenly disappearing from view, but it didn't really bother me. No bad buy ! 4.5*

Surprisingly amusing tragicomedy with many awkward moments that are often very funny. The story is beautifully exposed from different sides and there is quite a bit of depth in the original script. The ending could have been better.
