Nice action movie with Steven Seagal, and Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey as bad guys. Jones, Colm Meaney and Busey form a nice trio that ensures that Under Siege contains some humor in addition to all the action. Because they have fun and don't take everything too seriously. Seagal does, but after seeing so many of his films, it's no surprise anymore. Seagal can't act, but he does have charisma and he exudes coolness again. The man is a formidable action hero.

A good action movie with Seagal is still a mediocre action movie in general. This is one of his better ones, thanks to a bigger cast than usual: with Busey and Tommy Lee Jones, the bad guys are just a bit more interesting. Eleniak is mainly there for her double D's. The story is as simple as shit: a commando terrorist takes possession of a military ship carrying nuclear warheads. The ship's cook will stick a kitchen knife for that. Not very big and the dialogues are sometimes uninspired but well, it looks away. Here's an inspirational dip...
