Proof of Life is a film that actually has a bit of everything to offer; drama, action, suspense and a touch of romance. But there was still more fuss about the relationship of the two main actors next to it than on the set. Perhaps to camouflage the content instability a bit. In the end, the whole thing turned out to be an acceptable quality piece, but strangely enough, towards the end the film takes a complete break in style by going on a Rambo-like tour. Also to camouflage the poor ending?

Taylor Hackford (director of ao An Officer and a Gentleman (1982) delivered another fine film, the story of which is set in South Africa. America.

The only thing I regret is that there are some unnecessary scenes that maybe could have been removed. Furthermore, it is an original story and based on realistic facts. Strong acting from Russell Crowe and Meg Ryan. This kidnapping thriller offers lots of twists and action. If you liked this one, you could also watch these movies: Collateral Damage (2002) or Don't Say a Word (2001).
