There's nothing more annoying than fourteen-year-old teenage girls and let one of them play the leading role. Not a successful protagonist as far as I'm concerned. The film contains a lot of nostalgia for the overage teenagers who can't get their dino obsession resolved. The dinos also look fantastic and entertainment is certainly sufficient (especially in the second half). Some scenes were even memorable such as the raptor chase through Malta. Funny cameo also from Dimitri Vegas. But what a hopelessly unnecessary sequel, absurd plot, stupid dialogues. The plot holes are strung together like pearls on a chain. This was a big budget bad movie.

I really enjoyed the old cast. They should also have had the lead roles in the previous films. They carry the film. The rest just adds up.
Sure we've seen it all and there are a lot of clichés in that shot at the end with Pratt. But every time the old cabinet was in the picture I got that nostalgic feeling from the first movie.
