Captain America: The Winter Soldier

One of the best Marvel movies I've seen. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo manage to make a film with a modern and topical story about privacy versus combating dangers such as terrorism and alien scum. Add to that great action/fight scenes, intrigue, strong acting and humor and you have a Marvel movie that is rock solid.

Chris Evans is very strong again as Steve Rogers/Captain America. After two films he has grown into his role and knows how to play the patriotic, strong, shield-carrying, black-and-white thinking, other-worldly and also humorous hero well. It has been a masterstroke to pair him with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Scarlett Johansson. Evans and Johansson have played together in six or seven films and you can clearly see that. It is playful, humorous but also serious and together they form a formidable enemy for everyone. Romanoff is a little less naive and knows that there is no such thing as right and wrong. That is a nice contrast and is clearly visible in their conversations. The action scenes are fantastic. The part on the freighter, Nick Fury being attacked in his car, the elevator scene (greatly done!) and the scene after that with Cap's escape, the fight on the highway between Cap, Romanoff and The Winter Soldier and of course the last part around SHIELD headquarters, it's all very cleverly filmed and choreographed. In that last part, the old saying "excess hurts" comes in handy because it's a bit too much. In addition to Evans and Johansson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson are also in good shape. Next year there will be another Marvel movie about Captain America and if that part is as strong as The Winter Soldier then it's fun again.

Better than part 1, but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as many claim. I only notice that because of the many Avengers films that have been released in the meantime, I am starting to lose the thread here and there. Since the releases will continue to appear for the time being, a full marathon is not in it for the time being. I don't watch these kinds of movies enough and I don't keep track of the order in which I should see them. I had the feeling that I missed one or two episodes somewhere.

In any case, The Winter Soldier itself is nice and fast and packed with action. A little rest every now and then wouldn't have been a bad thing. Most of the print is quite chaotic. I also think that HYDRA has been sharpened a bit with the hair. (yes, it's also in part 1, I can still remember that), but the action fun predominates. There's too much going on to call it a no-brainer, but it's not far off. The finale is smashing, but it doesn't change my judgment that Captain America is one of the least interesting avengers.

Watch the first two in a row (recommended makes the experience more fun)

I think this is one , if not the least favorite avenger , but darn it , this is well put together .

It 's flashy action , one action scene after another fantastically captured .

And the story around it sometimes has a bit of a James bond plot , it is well incorporated .

Nice paranoid atmosphere, trust no one. What a great contribution to the whole .

If you like marvel movies this is a good one , if you like action as well . both then you have a great one .

The results are impressive. It is one of the few action films of recent years, whose action is so fat that it stays with you.
