An example of how a film can drop from "Champions League level" to Jupiler League quality.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time as I did during the church scene in Repossessed. Pastor Bophy's sermon brought tears to my eyes!

It's a shame that the film suddenly has no level at all after that. That starts in the fitness center. From that moment on, the film is no longer funny and the story is no longer interesting at all.

For a moment I thought: this film is recovering the leaf blower that blows people rolling on the street, hilarious!, but after that it is poor again.

I also keep it (just like rep_robert above) at two stars, because the film reaches a very nice level in the beginning, but then also drops very far.

Cool that you manage to get Linda Blair for an Exorcist parody, but in terms of execution, this is really a lesser film with Leslie Nielsen. Of course the humor is dry again. I think the flop 100 listing is a bit exaggerated, because, unlike almost all parodies of the last ten years, there is quite a bit to laugh about here. It's not about Leslie Nielsen. It's also not Linda Blair, but rather the script that may not be dry enough. I also miss the spontaneity a bit. The better Nielsen parodies excel at exaggerating and I don't see that very often here. Clearly there could have been more, but Repossessed is not a complete drama either.

A somewhat mediocre comedy in which The Exorcist has to pay for it. Especially a production that revolves around comedy, and in which the horror subgenre is rarely discussed.

The film has mostly flat humor, and many of these scenes are very bland. Nielsen can't prevent this comedy from being disappointing either.
