Beautifully shot, every shot is worth it, but the plot isn't much and is full of holes.

Mediocre!

The story didn't really captivate me and the kills are well presented. Although the opening scene with the rats was successful. Bizarre is the fact that the film can keep you in the dark for a long time, but never really gets exciting. Positive is of course the castle with its beautiful gothic atmospheric sets and the cast who give a good interpretation to their characters. Jane Birkin, in particular, acted convincingly. 5/10
