"Where happily ever after is just a dream."
The evil Krank and his minions were created by a mad scientist. Krank's problem is that he is tormented by the inability to dream. He finds it necessary to steal children's dreams because of this. However, since they are afraid of him, he only gets their nightmares. When the little brother of a circus performer is kidnapped, Krank is sought out by him.
