The mermaid Ariel is the youngest daughter of King Triton who rules the underwater kingdom. Fascinated by the human world, Ariel one day saves a prince from drowning. She falls in love and is determined to get to know him better. This causes tension with her father. Meanwhile, the sea witch Ursula hatches a cunning plan.

In spite of its attempt to be as good as the original 1989 classic, the 2023 reboot of The Little Mermaid does not have what it takes to be a positively marvelous film due to a political message that it sends about the live action version of the main character Ariel! I will not say other than that Ariel is depicted differently from the animated version!
