When aid worker Annie Blake returns from a mission in Nepal, she decides to spend her Christmas vacation with her family in Vermont. She learns that the local animal shelter has closed and that the vet has taken care of all kinds of animals. Annie tries to save the shelter and tries to relocate the animals.
