Just a little less "sharp" than his earlier films in which these two stoners shine. But I was able to handle it just fine, which I think is quite something, since after Clerks II, Smith stepped out of this universe and his films continued to descend to further levels.
Smith returns to his old successes and with this reboot he manages to create that feeling again. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the cameos feel a little more like a favor to friends. As an example I take Shannon Elizabeth. In itself, Smith manages to come up with a nice storyline with a daughter, but it would have had a better emotional ending if there had been one last moment with Elizabeth. Furthermore, a lot of pop culture references. I don't understand the comment above either. The Hollywood remake/reboot culture, the Warriors, Chronic Con, Star Wars etc. I've encountered them all.
For the rest, I don't really understand why you would watch this if you can't appreciate the characters, the silly humor and the rudeness. Maybe you could have outgrown it by now, but in preparation for this you could just watch the old movies again. Because secretly Strikes Back has even more lame (fart) jokes than this completely self-aware reboot.

Admittedly, sporadically I had to laugh at the constant nonsense that Jason Mewes (Jay) spews, but other than that, this is really bad. The plot hangs together from far-fetched nonsense and the thick sentimental moral behind the whole thing is puking. Many cameos, some nice, but that Kevin Smith is simply a bad director (as well as here when Silent Bob plays a very annoying character) is now hard to deny. Slightly better than Yoga Hosers, yes, but very little is needed for that.
