Eight years ago, Father Colin Hampstead witnessed a failed exorcism. The then 17-year-old Jewel Gran was killed. After that he had regular contact with Kayleigh, Jewel's sister. Already eight years later Colin has become a writer of occult stories. He is married to Kayleigh, and they have a daughter together. At the wedding of a friend of Colin's, the whole party encounters the ghost of Jewel. The situation is getting out of hand.
