Chasing Life plot

April is a bright, budding journalist in her twenties who tries to combine her ambitious career with her family. We run into April at a pivotal moment in her life: she gets a fantastic opportunity to impress her dour newspaper editor, and her office romance with super-sexy co-worker Dominic begins to blossom. By coincidence, April ends up in the hospital where her lost Uncle George works as an oncologist. There she receives the terrible news that she has cancer. However, April is determined to fight and does not give up on her dreams and goals.
