Detective Catherine Chandler is a smart, no-nonsense detective. When she was a teenager, she witnessed her mother's murder and was rescued herself by someone - or something. Years later, she finds out that this was Vincent: a doctor who, through experiments in his past, turns into a beast when he gets angry.
