L'Affaire Fourniret plot

Between 1987 and 2003, Michel Fourniret established himself as France's most notorious murderer. He definitely killed eleven young girls. Among them was twelve-year-old Elisabeth Brichet, his only Belgian victim. On May 28, 2008, Fourniret was sentenced to life imprisonment. On May 10, 2021, the 'monster of the Ardennes' died of lung disease. His wife and crime partner Monique Olivier (74) received a life sentence and can only apply for early release after 28 years in prison.
